Performance period
1. Upon reaching an agreement for this phase, the construction shall then be completed within 660 calendar days.
2. This construction project may be split up into scheduled sections, and the Contractor shall adhere to the schedule to ensure work is completed on time. However, if the project is not completed as expected, the action of Article 17, “the delayed performance”, would apply. The anticipated progress of each section is summarized below:
(1) The first 200 km of tube and cable shall be installed by December 31st, 2016 (pursuant to the logbook).
(2) The first 500 km of tube and cable shall be installed by December 31st, 2017 (pursuant to the logbook). Whatever remains shall be installed by the date set for total completion.
(3) Any remainder from the above two sections shall be installed by the date set for total completion.
Contractor’s qualifications
(A)Basic qualifications for domestic/foreign contractors:
The basic contractor qualification is “engineering business of cable installation” (code E603010) or “engineering business of telecommunication” (code E701010).
(B) The contractor is required to attach the following documents:
(1) Engineering business of cable installation: registration certificates and tax-paying records.
(2) Engineering telecommunication business: effective record of the re-examination time by the NCC, TTEIA membership, and tax-paying certificates
Foreign contractors: certification of registration and tax-paying at branch offices and/or units approved by the Taiwanese government.
